At the UAW-Endorsed State Assembly Candidate Town Hall, the UAW will introduce the two state assembly candidates endorsed by the UAW: Eli Northrup and Conrad Blackburn, who are also backed by the Sunrise Movement and the DSA, respectively. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about their experiences and platforms. A part of the conversation will touch on how both candidates plan to work with grassroots organizers to ensure that Columbia University will act better as an employer, landlord, and neighbor. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet fellow community members to form and strengthen relationships for future collaborations.
